What is an AODD pump?
An air-operated double diaphragm pump uses compressed air to move two diaphragms alternately, creating suction and discharge. No electricity required.
Can AODD pumps run dry?
Yes — AODD pumps are inherently dry-run safe, making them ideal for drum emptying and intermittent duty.
What fluids can AODD pumps handle?
Corrosive chemicals, abrasive slurries, high-viscosity paints, shear-sensitive foods and solids-laden wastewater — materials matched to your media.
How do I size an AODD pump?

How often should diaphragms be replaced?
3-6 months in aggressive chemical service; 12-24 months in light service. Replace when flow drops or the pump stalls.
